AM Protocol.

Peptide support serum

The morning half of the protocol. A peptide-forward serum that supports collagen synthesis, strengthens the skin barrier, and buffers PM Protocol irritation from the night before.

Supports collagen synthesis
Palmitoyl peptides signal fibroblasts to rebuild structural proteins.
Softens retinoid irritation
Niacinamide + ceramides reduce redness from overnight tretinoin.
Locks in hydration
Hyaluronic acid holds water where it matters most.
Builds tolerance over time
Buffers actives so PM Protocol stays sustainable.

Why it matters,
even on OTC.

Peptides are the most studied OTC anti-aging actives. AM Protocol stacks three of them — with a specific purpose for each.

01

Signals collagen production

Matrixyl 3000 mimics collagen fragments, signaling fibroblasts to produce new collagen. Clinical data: up to 45% reduction in wrinkle depth at 6 months.

02

Softens expression lines

Argireline acts on SNARE complex proteins involved in muscle contraction — a topical "botox-adjacent" effect on forehead and crow's feet lines.

03

Reduces PM-related irritation

GHK-Cu supports barrier function and wound-healing signaling — critical for men on tretinoin, where barrier disruption causes the most common reason for quitting.

How to use

Every morning. 30 seconds.

AM Protocol goes on clean, dry skin before SPF. Unlike the PM Rx, you can layer other morning products — but the simpler you keep it, the better.

Order matters

Cleanser → AM Protocol → SPF Protocol. Morning only. Not at night (PM Protocol needs the night alone).

1
Cleanse

Gentle cleanser. Pat dry.

2
Apply AM Protocol

2–3 drops. Press into skin, don't rub. Forehead, cheeks, neck.

3
Wait 60 seconds

Let it absorb before the next layer.

4
Apply SPF Protocol

Non-negotiable. PM Protocol makes your skin sun-sensitive.

Questions

Answered.

Do I need AM Protocol if I'm using PM Protocol?+

Technically no — PM is the Rx workhorse. But in real-world data, adherence to tretinoin is 40%+ higher when AM support is in the stack. The peptides reduce the irritation that drives most quitters.

Can I use AM Protocol alone (without PM)?+

Yes, as an OTC peptide serum. You'll see gradual improvement in firmness and expression lines over 3–6 months. For visible aging reversal, you need the Rx layer — peptides alone aren't enough.

Is this safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?+

Yes — the peptides in AM Protocol are considered safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, if you're also on PM Protocol, that's contraindicated.

Can I use my current serum with it?+

Technically yes — peptides play well with most actives except vitamin C (acidic pH reduces peptide stability). But the cleanest stack is AM Protocol + SPF Protocol + PM Protocol and nothing else.
